Internship principles
1. Time and Duration
Students submit their internship petitions to the Faculty Student Affairs Office between the dates determined by the internship commission. The internship to be done during the winter semester break is 10 working days and the internship to be done during the summer break is 15 working days. In addition, the student can do the entire internship for 25 working days during the summer vacation.
Students who plan to do internship abroad apply to student affairs with a petition between the dates determined by the internship commission. 3. Application
The student takes the internship notebook and internship evaluation form from the unit directed by the Faculty student affairs. Every day, the student carefully writes the practices and studies carried out within the framework of aquaculture formation in the allocated spaces of the notebook and has it approved by the organization official. This approval is done weekly. At the end of the internship, the organization official fills out the internship evaluation form and sends it in a sealed envelope by mail or courier to Ege University Faculty of Aquaculture Dean's Office Student Affairs Chief Office Office 35100 Bornova / Izmir or should give it to the student in a sealed envelope with a signature. At the end of the internship, the student submits the signed and approved internship notebook to the Faculty Student Affairs Chief Office in return for signature by writing the report about the enterprise (to be written on the last page of the internship notebook). If the internship is done in two different organizations or in the same organization at different times, the same procedure is applied. Intern students are supervised at least once by an instructor to be assigned by the internship commission at the internship organizations. The instructor gives an inspection report to the internship commission.
4. Evaluation
Students who have completed their summer internship submit their internship notebooks to the Faculty Student Affairs Chief Office for signature on the date determined and announced by the internship commission. The student is taken to the internship evaluation exam after the internship notebooks, internship evaluation forms and supervision reports prepared by the teaching staff are examined. If the internship is completed in two different organizations for any reason, a separate evaluation is made. The Commission announces the evaluation result as "Successful or Unsuccessful". Students who are found unsuccessful as a result of the evaluation repeat the internship. The same internship principles are applied to second education students.
